They were newly engaged, very happy together, getting their shit together ready to become innkeepers.
And then ... Ed died when trying to pull down the murphy bed.

I can't leave him dead.
... or should I just make an Izzy sim and leave Ed's ghost to wander around the tiny house?

Stede was at work, too, and there wasn't anyone to plead with the Grim Reaper to spare Ed.

But he did give up piracy to take up innkeeping. So maybe it's appropriate for a wannabe innkeeper to be killed by a bed?
