Since I need to start somewhere :blobcatboo: here it is!
I really liked "all these renewals for a moment with you" by riverdanceeee on ao3!
It's a modern AU with single father Xie Lian with a bit of his canon bad luck, his daughter Ban Yue and carpenter Hua Cheng!
It's no less than 116K words, finished in 8 chapters that certainly made me cry more than one time. I've read it a few times already and I still like it just as much.

Stepping onto the ice by lavender_flavored_star
I was watching YOI again when I first read this one :bigblobhajhug: I absolutely LOVE modern AU with Xie Lian doing figure skating or dancing and this one was very very good. I always enjoy rereading it. I really liked Xie Lian's journey with figure skating and how Hua Cheng stood by his side, always ready to catch him before he fell.

Sword and shelter by Boomchick
Shorter than the first two ones, but one of my all-time favorite! It's a Wulian canon-divergent fic, where Xie Lian was quick enough to stop Wu Ming from being cursed on his steed! I really like the hurt/comfort type of fanfictions... I've read it several times already and will probably read it again

Canon divergent where Hiccup doesn't stop Astrid when she find Toothless and instead took this as an opportunity to finally leave. Darker than the movie with more mature stories.
