@leahbobet are those Tulip socks by Cookie A I spy in your newsletter, or something that looks like them? (My housemate is working on some right now which is why the pattern name is back in my head.)

I adore their stuff.
(And if it's not weird to ask: Does your housemate have any of their pattern books? Something they'd be willing to barter for a pattern from? Because they're out of print, and there are a few I'm absolutely yearning for.)

I had a copy of *Sock Innovation* at one point, but donated it to my local library when I cut down on my own ownership of stuff.
Her patterns are so cool, I'm surprised that interweave would let the book go. Or maybe they don't really publish books any more ??
@lookitmychicken @coreo A big chunk of them are, yeah -- it's Socks By the Sea and some of the digital-first patterns I can't get hands on. I did some inappropriate internet stalking of the "please let me give you money" variety and it looks like she's just maybe moved on to other things? But maaaan. She's one of my consistent favourite designers.
