Thinking about how, if I chose the right colours, I could make myself look like one of those real pretty city pigeons, with this shawl

This shawl is named after one of my favorite places, the Lake Constance, or Bodensee in German. It is one of the largest lakes in Europa and is situated at the southern border of Germany, sharing its shores with Austria and Switzerland. It has its own very special beauty and climate, and for me it´s one of those places that make you feel at peace. When picking colors for this design, Lake Constance’s waters and beautiful environment immediately sprang to mind.

@the_wanlorn I usually knit based on yarn I already own, which is based on what is on sale or thrifted! It would be so expensive!

Same, I really would like to make this, but the color selection is vital, and I don't have anything suitable in stash.
I even went looking at Bendigo Woollen Mills just in case they have a suitable & affordable yarn I could sub in, but they only have pure cotton or pure wool, no wool/cotton blends. 
The blocking & drape of that shawl is so lovely, I wouldn't want to sub in a yarn with different qualities.
