Argh fuck fuck fuck, just got undressed for bed & discovered one of my barbells has gone missing 
Must've come unscrewed and fallen out at some point today
I have thoroughly searched everything I was wearing today, especially my bra, and cannot find the barbell.
Welp looks like I'm calling the piercer first thing in the morning to see if they're able to do a quick replacement before it closes up.
(It's only about 6 weeks old, nowhere near healed enough yet.)
Decided this morning *not* to try to get it done today.
* I'm going to have to pay for a new barbell & the piercer's time anyway, so I'm not too fussed if the piercing closes up a little
* The missing barbell might turn up unexpectedly?? I suspect it fell out of my clothes while I was out, but there's a possibility that it's somewhere in the apartment
* I'm already tired most of the time from changing my work arrangements recently, need to vigilantly protect my rest time
When I do go back to get it done again, I'll buy an additional emergency backup piece of jewellery.
So then I can deploy it to save the piercing if something like this ever happens again.

@lookitmychicken Yay! Partial success! I guess you could try the vaccuum cleaner? It might also have rolled into a corner or under furniture?
@TheOtherDibbler there isn't a lot of furniture! I have looked under all of it, no luck so far. I will attempt to look in the vacuum cleaner in a bit -- but I'm super sensitive to dust so I've been leaving that until last :D
